“ Was really happy with the food and service. I hope to see this place thrive with it being right here in the neighborhood. ”
“ OK, first of all it's not primarily Japanese food anymore. The name has stuck, but new owners have switched to a Chinese food buffet with a couple of Japanese items like sushi and ramen. I stopped by to pick up a bento and discovered they don't do bentos anymore- but they handed me a plastic platter and turned me loose to fill it up for $10! They explained it was "happy hour" till 5:30 pm, when the price goes up to $15. I was picking up food for my father-in-law, so I didn't taste it- but it looked and smelled delicious! ”

They've always been very patient with our large group of varying ages and abilities! The food is good. We've had everything from Bento boxes to different types of sushi. The rolls are not crazycreative, but check out the special board. Sometimes they have some unique offerings. There's a large parking lot out front, so parking is not a problem. ”

From crab Rangoons, potstickers, fabulous garlic green beans, extreme noodle (spicy but lovely!) and then my favorite... wait for it... Dumplings!! Steamed or lightly fried, yumminess inside that perfect gift of pillowy love! OBA Kitchen has added a new chef that seems to cook for all as if we were her children and we need a hug. Keep an eye out; New Menu Items Coming Soon!! ”
“ Got some food via door dash. Their veggie tempura was a nice mix. I put it in the air fryer for a couple of minutes to crisp them up. Had the Kalbi dinner. The meat was nice and tender and flavorful. Not too fatty. I especially liked that the meat was already cut up and not just one big piece of short rib. The rice was a bit dry. ”
